Become aware of the typography around you in your everyday life. Type is everywhere — newspapers, signage, menus, posters, websites, etc. Take pictures, create sketches, collect hard copies. Be prepared to discuss the typography and your opinions. You can document your own examples throughout the semester and you will also be given various assignments.
